A n d when the Lord King Charles was at Catona and all his followers had landed who could be carried across during the night, he ordained that the count of Alenin, his nephew, and brother of King Philip of France, should remain at Catona with a great number of the chivalry ; and he went to the city of Reggio and gave the word to his galleys all to return to their country.
