ABSTRACT
Three statues at the Turin Egyptian Museum have been attributed to Donati. The aim of this chapter is to examine the written evidence that supports this attribution. The three statues were photographed and they are described in detail in order to link their identification with the written evidence. The resulting discrepancies between Donati’s primary evidence and the attribution by the museum and scholars are discussed, including the missing evidence for the third Hathor statue.
