ABSTRACT

Organizations will generally need to fi nd a blend of the strengths of all of these culture types. For example, one could create an Incubator Culture that has a Family management style and yet still gain some of the benefi ts of becoming more Guided Missile-like and adopting some of the positive aspects of an Eiff el Tower Culture. Th is approach can prevent suff ering from some of the shortcomings of a Family Culture, which could happen if management behaves like benevolent parents. Th ere is a need to make employees believe the executives feel an obligation to provide all the benefi ts of employment they could while remaining fi scally responsible.
