ABSTRACT
Digital images employ color spaces, color models, bit-depths, gamma correction, and color channels in order to determine the intensity of any given pixel. As such, you have a great deal of flexibility when working with colors in Fusion. You can convert one color space to another, change the image bit-depth, or alter color values with filters to achieve specific aesthetic or technical goals. When working with color channels, you are not limited to red, green, blue, and alpha channels but can import, view, and alter a wide variety of auxiliary channels. This chapter includes the following critical information:
Filtering specific color channels
Accessing auxiliary channels
Altering color spaces and gamma
Working in linear color space
Applying color filters
