ABSTRACT

Big data, data science, business intelligence, data mining and analytics are all concepts frequently used nowadays since they play a critical role in all domains of life from football, to consumer behavior, to talent management decisions. The power of analytics has been recognized by many professionals and academics who argued that it guides decisions, facilitates forecasting and predictions, improves practices and processes and adds value to business (Galagan, 2014; Harris, Craig, & Egan, 2010; Harris & Mehrotra, 2014).
