ABSTRACT
It has always been the curse of air freight that however fast and effi cient the fl ight itself, it is on the ground where the delays accumulate. Today, there are many techniques and systems available for handlers to streamline their operations, but at the same time, new security and dangerous goods regulations, cargo screening and customs rules must be factored into the handling process.
