ABSTRACT
The dynamic response of underwater structures is different from those in air because of interaction between fluid and solid. With a lot of actual examples of deep-water bridges, the dynamic characteristics of rectangular bridge pier in deep water are analyzed on the basis of potential fluid theory. The dynamic response influence of rectangular pier with different depth of water is discussed, under the action of harmonic loads.
