ABSTRACT

How can observation best be used to stimulate and support excellence in teacher learning and improve the student learning experience in the classroom? This is a question that underpins the very raison d’ȇtre of this book and it is a question that has been explored in every chapter from start to finish. And rightly so! For if we choose to invest time in using a particular method or approach in education, whether it be with students or teachers, we need to know that it is time well spent and that ultimately it adds value and meaning to the educational experience.
