The face-to-face session. 9: Summarizing, tidying up loose ends and the client’s commitment to the future

After you have discussed the important issue of how your client is going to apply what they have learned from the SSI-CBT process to relevant situations in their life, it is important that you ensure that the client leaves the process with an accurate understanding of what went on in the process and what they have learned from it. Also, it is important that you deal with any unfinished business from the client’s perspective and end the process on a positive and encouraging note.
