ABSTRACT
This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts covered in the preceding chapters of this book. The book discusses the "why" and "how" of incorporating case analysis into SEPP practice and training. With regards to SEPP training and supervision, there are many benefits to incorporating case analysis. The book examines the process of developing procedural and conditional knowledge and professional practice skills by helping students and neophyte practitioners hone their ability to apply the concepts, theories, definitions, and research they have learned. A benefit of case analysis in the book is that it can enhance deliberate practice in SEPP education and training by intentionally aiming toward the improvement of the neophyte practitioner's consulting skills and abilities. Another benefit of incorporating case analysis into SEPP education and training is its usefulness for developing adaptive expertise. The book provides some example considerations and strategies for utilizing case analysis like incorporating technology, reflection and case development.
