ABSTRACT

Final colophon The final colophon is preserved only by manuscript A, which is in poor condition, with damage to the left margin and elsewhere loss of the surface layer of palm leaf. (Of the remaining manuscripts, only BH2 give the name of the author.) Tib has the final colophon, though in an expanded and slightly reordered form. It is clear that at one point Tib mistranslates the Sanskrit, but it nonetheless enables emendation of the Sanskrit. A transcription of manuscript A, the text of manuscript A as emended and the colophon as found in Tib follows. A cross indicates an illegible akṣara resulting from damage to the manuscript. Semi-legible akṣaras are enclosed in parentheses. Square brackets indicate text

in Tib is also included.
