ABSTRACT

Psychology in the Schools is dedicated to publishing research and theoretical manuscripts that have direct implications for school psychologists, counselors, teachers, administrators, and other personnel workers in schools. A total of 309 manuscripts were submitted to Psychology in the Schools for consideration from January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2015. In addition to new submissions, 88 manuscripts were resubmitted for consideration, resulting in a total of 397 manuscripts that were processed by the journal during 2015. There is an emphasis on publishing manuscripts that address issues confronting psychologists and educators within higher education. The journal's 2015 Institute for Scientific Information Journal Citation Reports Ranking was 34 out of 57. Historically, the journal works with authors to improve manuscripts that have the potential to make significant contributions to the literature. Guest editors of a special issue assume full control of the editorial process from soliciting manuscripts, sending manuscripts out for review, and making editorial decisions.
