ABSTRACT

There are two golden rules we consider important when considering when and how to use technology in your training:

Technology should support and enhance your training – Whilst it can be used to add variety and interest, avoid using technology just for the sake of it. If there are alternatives that will achieve the same aims just as effectively or efficiently, then you should probably use those instead.

Technology can be temperamental – There are many things that we can do to plan for problems, but unless you are training directly about the technology, it may be worth giving some thought to a back-up plan if the technology does not work.
