ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on the good practices and the steps that should be taken towards green production. Green production is an essential part of the green supply chain, especially considering that approximately 90% of the waste related to products are generated before the product reaches the consumer. The use of analytical methods for assessing environmental impacts during production of goods, is a key advantage for the development and the increase in the competitiveness of a business. The greening of production, along with the turn towards environmental protection and sustainable development, contributes to the modernization and development of businesses around the world.
