Feng Ying-ts’e is a native of Chi-t’an Village, Kao-p’ing hsien, Shansi Province, and a member of San-chia People’s Commune there. Her father was Feng Wu-ch’ou, and this family history must begin with the story of Feng Wu-ch’ou.
