ABSTRACT
An arrangement of panels and frames is called a workspace. After Effects comes with a number of prearranged workspace layouts; you can also save your own custom arrangements. You will learn how to do this later in this Pre-Roll. But first, let’s become familiar with the panels you will encounter most often, what information they hold, and how you will use them while working on a project in After Effects. You won’t be putting them to use quite yet; that will be your task in the following lessons!
