ABSTRACT

PRINT3 is a leading manufacturer of 3D Printing Systems with global headquarters in the Middle East. Operating in a fast-evolving business environment, the company has been growing particularly rapidly in Asia with main offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai, Seoul and Tokyo. Progress-U together with PRINT3 analysed the challenges through a series of activities: a brief online survey among sales leaders and sales executives; interviews with a selection of 4–5 sales leaders in each of the five main locations; interview with the regional head of sales in Asia. These challenges were addressed by letting the participants reflect on their role as sales mentors and by having they discover the benefits and downsides of giving ownership. The group coaching follow-up for the pilot intake was challenging as the 'show-up' rate was only 60–80% while we were aiming at 90–100%. Conducting the workshop bilingually worked particularly well in Japan and a bit less well in Korea.
