ABSTRACT
This is the conclusion to our book, but we hope it is the start to a new part of the discussion about law's ability to protect women from senseless violence. Here we outline several general conclusions from our study that we hope can add to such a discussion. 1 We also make some recommendations for further nourishing our understanding of the role law plays and, more importantly, can play in reducing violence against women (VAW).
