ABSTRACT

Economic practices and systems are sets of social arrangements through which humans organize the production, distribution, and consumption of the material goods and services that are  necessary for human life. The discipline of economics studies how these systems and practices work, and feminist economics investigates their gendered dimensions; that is to say, feminist economics studies the gendered aspects of economic life. Feminist methodology in economics investigates how the discipline produces economic “facts” and theories.
