ABSTRACT
In the afternoon, he was chilling in his room, listening to music. At that time he lit up a cigarette. All of a sudden his mother entered the room. She argued that he was not allowed to smoke inside. The situation escalated and J. started hitting his mother on her chest and in her face. She fell to the floor. J. ran to the kitchen where he took a big kitchen knife. He returned to his room where his mother was lying unconscious. He started cutting her throat, after which she bled to death. J. got out of the house. A day later, the local police authorities arrested him. At that time, he looked confused. In his statements he claimed:
There was somebody in my room, but not my mother. I felt threatened, as if an alien had taken over my mother. He was trying to control me. I had to do something otherwise I lost control. So I acted. It had to be stopped.
