ABSTRACT
Tables are ubiquitous in social science journals focusing on the presentation of the results of empirical, quantitative studies—and for good reason. Tables can make data easier to understand because, if done correctly, the data are not only well organized, but they also invite comparisons and observations that may interest the reader beyond the hypotheses investigated by the study.
