ABSTRACT

Introduction The PKK was a product of the Turkish state denial of the Kurdish existence and its identity. It was a reaction to the state policy towards the Kurds. Therefore, it was a political party that was struggling to build a nation state for the Kurds. However, the KCK is a multi-dimensional project that can challenge the post-PKK era as the new social, cultural and political struggle to build the democratic nation rather than the nation state. The ‘Ideology of PKK’ is an ideological body within the KCK system that can direct the whole movement and challenge the new era of the Kurdish national struggle in Turkey.
