ABSTRACT
An innovation born in the Great Cultural Revolution, "May 7" cadre schools are all over China. Every province, municipality, and autonomous region, as well as many special administrative regions, counties, and cities, all have this type of school. More than a hundred belong to the departments under the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party and the State Council.
