ABSTRACT

This chapter provides information relates to the City and Guilds exam. The questions in the exam should come up in a learning outcome order and people should generally find groups of questions on the same topic arriving together as they progress through their exam. In addition to revising the learning outcomes and sample exam questions there are some simple things they can do to help them out in the exam. During the exam to refer to a copy of the IET Code of Practice and it is common practice to annotate the copy prior to the exam to make things easier to find. Once the exam begins, address each question one at a time, read them carefully and select the appropriate answer. When the exam ends, leave the exam room when instructed to do so by the invigilator. The results will usually be available within 5 or 10 minutes of finishing the exam.
