ABSTRACT
Psychological research raises a number of ethical issues. Many of these, such as preventing and policing research misconduct, managing data, assigning authorship, and dealing with conflicts of interest, also arise in other scientific disciplines, while others, such as deceiving human subjects in behavioral experiments, are unique to psychology. This chapter will review the ethical issues that arise in psychological research.
