ABSTRACT

I see nothing before me at present but the loss of the building season, and the probability of the cottages not being built at all; which would be a grievous vexation to Mrs Morris. Unless, therefore, you can abide by the last terms we had come to, and write me word to that effect, I must ask you to send me back the drawings, specifi cation, and quantities – with all the other papers Mr Jack left with you, so that I may consider my position in the matter as Mrs Morris’ architect.
