ABSTRACT
While reflecting about her experience in the community, Eva related to the role of the facilitator in promoting her learning:
I am experiencing something that is new and really meaningful for me in this group. I feel that the coordinator provides a model for me as a teacher educator. . . . I feel that this is exactly what I need now in my professional life. I mean . . . up to now I experienced many models that taught me something, and these models were based on blind faith alone. But now I feel that I am at a certain point in my life that I want to reopen things for thinking, for wonder, to be able to think critically, and this coordinator brings this kind of learning to me. This is meaningful. Yesterday it was very hard for me to attend the group session. But I felt that I must come, to engage in this learning that the coordinator promotes, I could not skip this meeting even this one time.
