ABSTRACT
As you will have learned from our series introduction, this is the first in a series of planned multi-authored books exploring academic interests in music production from a range of perspectives. This approach enables us, as a discipline, we believe, to study any topic from differing angles. Whether that be an angle of perspective, such as the method of approaching a mix, or the way in which you look at or listen to a mix, or to consider the prism through which you analyze a mix, Perspectives on Music Production is a broad church.
