This chapter talks about: how to use pronouns with subject/object/topic markers, how to use noun modifiers, asking for permission, giving permission, purchasing items at stores, asking for prices and naming articles of clothing. It discusses the shopping districts in Seoul and for clothing and accessories Namdaemoon Market, Dongdaemoon Market, Itaewon, and Shinchon are popular places. The chapter reviews the Insa-dong which is known for pottery, celadon, antiques, and paintings where all kinds of electronic goods are at a discounted price at Yongsan Electronics Market. It explains that the shopping at department stores do not haggle as the prices are firmly fixed and most department stores have sale periods on a regular basis during which you can get bigger. This chapter deals with the noun modifier that is followed by expressing the meaning "seems" or "appears as if" and is used when the speaker expresses his/her opinion in a humble way in colloquial speech.
