ABSTRACT

This introduction presents an overview of key concepts discussed in the subsequent chapters of this book. The book explains about measuring the practices of education in ways that can make a genuine difference to learning. It examines the current state-of-play in the field of learning analytics using an example of contemporary practice as a comparative term of reference for the emergent feedback approach.
