ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: This paper discusses the challenges faced during the design and construction of the Route 46 over Musconetcong River Bridge. The two-span through girder crossing was reconstructed over a ten-day road closure using Prefabricated Bridge Elements (PBEs) and the State of New Jersey’s first application of Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC).
