ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we want to capture the idea that some who engage in gender-based violence do so as they seek pleasurable activity. There is the need to chase the desire to possess something new. These cravings fuel previously mentioned risk factors, such as objectification,
addiction, grooming behaviors, and misogyny. Women are seen as objects along the journey for pleasure or to control and dominate them.
