Corrections Required in PresentWork [1906]

Paper 17 consists of Russell’s working notes on changes that needed to be made in his draft of Principia Mathematica. In the upper-left corner the manuscript is dated 1906 in Russell’s hand. The dating of 17 is further aided by the verso of folio 3 of the manuscript. That verso, written before 17, is clearly about the Multiplicative Axiom and uses ᗱ‘R for the codomain of R rather than the earlier notation D̆‘R. Hence Paper 17 was composed later than Paper 10, which still uses the notation ̆‘R and which was written sometime between March and September 1906.
