Finally, probable is the word used for opinions with the highest level of certainty that can be applied to any data determined from the human skeleton. Within this last category, levels of certainty can be further subdivided such that some statements can be taken as an opinion indicating general tendency (e.g., the majority of females have a wide subpubic angle), while others indicate certainty (e.g., the configuration of tooth amalgams indicates a positive identification).
