ABSTRACT
The chapters in this book have reflected on the issues that most concerned Ailsa McKay and the influences she has had on peers and policy makers in shaping theoretical perspectives and approaches to policy and practice in relation to women and the economy. In this final chapter we discuss how those interested in improving the position of women might build on her legacy, particularly in Scotland where her impact was most profound.
