ABSTRACT
The general problem of the construction and use of econometric models is well known, and a fortiori apply to econometric models of mineral resources. At the same time, mineral modeling poses a number of more particular problems. This paper gives a non-technical discussion of some of these, with specific reference to non-ferrous metals, and indicates some solutions.
