ABSTRACT

A relational group culture is needed to hold each group member with the kind of sensitivity needed to foster opening up and growing. This chapter discusses how the GGT leader can help foster such a group culture. Selection of group members is discussed along with the criteria that group leaders can bear in mind during the selection process. A balance among group members in terms of age, ethnicity, profession, and so on is discussed. The authors argue that group members need to have the capacity to entertain multiple perspectives or narratives.
