ABSTRACT
Investors are the reason that filmmaker write the Executive Summary only after they have carefully devised their business plan. They are likely to look directly from the Executive Summary to the tables to see the details of revenues and expenses. If filmmaker have a company plan in which each film has its own director and producers, filmmaker may want to include their bios with each film rather than in the Company section. They do not have to be comparative to the film, but Oscar nominees that the reader will recognize always are a good idea. Next list the independent films that have won the Best Picture Oscar in the last ten years, assuming the trend continues. Follow up with a quote or two from notable executives and/or analysts. Before describing filmmakers specific segment of the marketplace, it is necessary to give an overview of the industry based on what is in the longer Industry section.
