ABSTRACT
This chapter explores the influence of stakeholders over the design of an event and the role of the venue in the creative design process. The chapter will help readers to recognise the ways in which the characteristics and architecture of the venue can influence event design and how, as the event designer, you can create a sensory experience within a venue.
