ABSTRACT

Reframing is the process of changing the way you look at something from positive to negative or negative to positive. Reframing can turn a stressful, traumatic event into a useful learning experience. If the day doesn't go as planned, can frame it as the most disastrous day of life or a small hiccup in an overall wonderful life. Shifting, or reframing, the attitudes and perceptions from negative to positive can help relieve significant amounts of stress, lift feelings of depression, facilitate growth from trauma and create a happier, more optimistic life. The stories in this chapter address the reframing of ideas through the acquisition and utilization of new information. They look at adopting practical and wise attitudes, at seeing both the positive and the negative, and at discovering the ability to change. They show the step-by-step processes for adopting healthier and happier frames of mind. Changing the way of look around the life can truly change life.
