ABSTRACT
Introduction Ports have been attempting to increase their competitiveness by enhancing their productivity, providing better quality services, and reducing their costs. In addition, contemporary ports are required to operate their ports in a more environmentally friendly manner due to the increasing awareness and concerns of their stakeholders arising from global warming and climate change issues. Therefore, more ports are investing in environmental facilities to respond to the needs and concerns of their stakeholders.
