ABSTRACT
This chapter is provided as a complement to Chapter 12, the methodological chapter on oral history. It provides the reader with some details of my own personal experience of an oral history study as part of my PhD thesis. In doing so, my own experiences have been influenced by my supervisors’ experiences and build upon those, thus it becomes a reflection of more than one experience. However, the detail in the chapter is focused on how I conducted the oral history. It is intended to illuminate an experience of oral history interviews and perhaps give some guidance to the readers on conducting their own oral history study.
