Here’s a space where we as directors and creative people can do our thing without worrying about the various other concerns of fi lmmaking. . . . Th at’s what was most important, being able to commit to this full time, without a full understanding what lies ahead, but with a knowledge that if you build an audience, that will be helpful, whatever you do in the fi lm world.
