Conclusions

The R&D intensity, RDint_C coefficient is consistently positive in log-exports equations; it is large and significant – at 5% level if one applies the ‘appropriate’ one (right)-tail test. Thus, more R&D intensive firms seem to enjoy greater export competitiveness, corroborating the previous evidence for India. The other technological variables have been dropped due to insignificance.
