ABSTRACT
With this backdrop, the present study is an attempt to contribute to the existing knowledge on determinants of SME export by exploring how the regional differences in accumulated technological knowledge, FDI inflows and industrial agglomeration influence exporting activities of SMEs from India. The main contention of this study is that regional factors play an important role in SME internationalization (through exporting) even if one controls for the influences of firm-and industry-specific factors.
