ABSTRACT
The principle advantages of PV power in decentralised power generation also dampened the enthusiasm of the big traditional power companies to push for PV power. Even if they did not perceive a challenge to their power as such, the capacity of the Chinese grid to digest larger volumes of PV power in peak times is estimated to be very low.6 Hence PV energy potentially increased net insecurity and heightens the pressure to improve the net.
