ABSTRACT
Those who are in positions to provide key services to children have recently been thrust into the public spotlight by cases of clergy abuse, as well as abuse by those who serve in the capacity of caretaker or in mentorship roles. Others who are in the public eye, such as sports figures, have also found themselves in the media spotlight following rape allegations.
