ABSTRACT
Sex offenders target different types of victims, and they differ with regard to their type and degree of motivation. They also differ with regard to recidivism risk and the types of interventions that will be most effective in reducing that risk. One way to differentiate sex offenders and identify unique risk factors for recidivism is through an assessment process.
