ABSTRACT
When the topic of sex crimes is brought up, the terms “rape,” “sexual assault,” “sexual battery,” “criminal sexual abuse,” and many other comparable terms often come to mind. As stated previously, the purpose of this textbook is to demonstrate that a vast spectrum of sex crimes exists, as do the offenders who commit them. Crimes of rape and sexual assault are central to this topic.
