ABSTRACT

Using a similar rationale adopted in chapter five, after a brief introduction to Argentina’s mode of governance, population and public education system, the chapter introduces the Plan for Completion of Primary and Secondary Education (Plan FinES), a nation-wide initiative launched in 2007 by the Argentinean government. On this basis, and through adoption of multi-data source analysis, the rest of the chapter disentangles a composite narrative pointing at whether and how local actions in adult education relate to national governance and global networking.
